Little Pilgrims Retreat is the perfect place to unwind and also explore everything the historic city of Canterbury has to offer as its less than a 15 minute walk.

Imagine yourself snuggled up in front of the log burner or submerged in bubbles in the roll top bath . Whatever the occasion you will have an amazing time.
The space
Canterbury has an array of bars, pubs and restaurants all within a short walking distance. In just 15 minutes you can find yourself in central Canterbury where you will find the famous Canterbury Cathedral and Marlowe Theatre.
You are just 5 minutes from Canterbury West train station which has direct links to London St Pancras and many of Kents wonderful coastal towns including Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs. The beautiful West Gate Gardens is only a 10 minute walk away where you can enjoy walks along the River Stour and picnics in the sun.
Within a 5 minute walk there is a Sainsburys local , independent bakery / butchers / grocers. Bigger supermarkets can be found not much further.
The Crab & Winkle trail passes through the area amongst other great interesting historical walks / cycle routes. UKC, Canterbury Christ Church University and The Kings School are all in the surrounding area and easily accessible.
We will supply a basket of logs and kindling for the log burner between the months of October and March
Other things to note
The front door of the cottage opens onto the pavement. There is a pedestrian crossing nearby so the vehicles are not travelling fast, but during the day there will be traffic noise, less so at the weekends. However there is secondary glazing on the downstairs window.
There is no private parking with the property. Parking is available close by in the permit area which is free for up to 4hrs between Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. All times outside of this are free. If you require more than the 4hrs free parking we can issue parking permits for the roads below for £5 each which allows 24hrs at a time:
