Location

Canterbury has an array of bars, pubs and restaurants all within a short walking distance. In just 15 minutes you can find yourself in central Canterbury where you will find the famous Canterbury Cathedral and Marlowe Theatre. You are just 5 minutes from Canterbury West train station which has direct links to London St Pancras and many of Kents wonderful coastal towns including Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs. The beautiful West Gate Gardens is only a 10 minute walk away where you can enjoy walks along the River Stour and picnics in the sun. Within a 5 minute walk there is a Sainsburys local , independent bakery / butchers / grocers. Bigger supermarkets can be found not much further.

We had a great time. Lovely little cottage and the wood burner was a winner! Great communication and so much to do around the area. Bishops Finger on a Friday for live music with Dune Acoustic is a must and Cosy Club for cocktails.

This place is absolutely beautiful. I loved the claw foot tub and fire place. It is right off a main road making it easy to find. It can be a bit noisy as it is off a main thoroughfare, but I didn’t mind it a bit. What do you expect in such an old town!? 🙂 Stuart was a gracious host and quick to respond. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!!!

Had a great stay in Canterbury, helped by having a stylish bolt-hole to come back to. Perfect size for 1 or 2 people, spotless, cute garden, and surprisingly quiet. Loved it and would book again.

This home was super charming and cozy to stay in with my husband and infant son. Before we arrived, I asked if there was enough room for our baby's travel crib, as it wasn't too clear in the photos. I was assured there was and afterwards noticed that the listing was updated as well. I can assure you, there was more than enough room in the bedroom for the travel crib and all of our luggage! We were also pleasantly surprised to find that they had included a high chair for us as well, this was very nice. The house is within 10 minutes walk to the centre of Canterbury, which was great to allow us to easily explore and return home again if needed for our son to nap. This is a beautiful, historic home and the perfect little English cottage. I highly recommend a stay here.

We stayed for 3 nights with our baby boy. The home was spotless and had everything we needed. Location was perfect for us to get into the city by foot to explore. Communication was brilliant and a fair nightly rate without a massive cleaning fee that other airb&bs charge and we were left a bottle of Prosecco! We would love to stay again in the future.
